A Valuable Lesson

It’s been a while since my last entry, not because I have been particularly busy or have had nothing to write about; rather, because I have simply not set aside any time to actually write. It seems that I have been sitting down with a subject in mind to write about and then becoming distracted and stopping.

During this time I have, however, decided to share this one awesome story my mom told me last Friday;"A Valuable Lesson"

One day, a rich father took his son on a trip. He wanted to show him how poor someone can be. They spent time on the farm of a poor family. On the way home, father asked;
"Did you see how poor they are? What did you learn?
The son replied;
“We have a pool, they have rivers."
"We have lanterns at night, they have stars."
"We buy food, they grow theirs."
"We have walls to protect us, they have friends."
"We have encyclopaedias, they have the Quran.”

Then he added:

“Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.”

I guess I don't have to write the conclusion of this story here as I'm sure it's unequivocally clear.
